What is Shooter Magazine?:
It’s the world’s first photomobile magazine, published four times per year. Each issue of the glossy full-colour magazine contains 208 pages and is printed on high-quality paper stock –to last a lifetime!
Our fourth issue, published last january, carried 25 illustrated articles (336 pages) focusing on the work of individual mobile photographers from around the world. There was also a “master class” in photo editing, and “Shooter Says”, our news pages about developments in mobile photography, associations, websites, events, etc.
Is it for professional photographers?
We seek artistic and technical excellence wherever we can find it. The advent of mobile photography has uncovered the talents of many amateurs, some of whom are producing quite extraordinary work with their Iphones, Galaxies, Xperias, etc. The primary purpose of Shooter Magazine is to showcase these talents on paper.
How can I become a subscriber/shareholder?
The Shooter Magazine project is financed via crowdfunding, and the first 3,000 subscribers will also be shareholders, meaning they can share in future profits. The initial response to Shooter has been highly encouraging, and we expect to reach the 3,000 mark in the course of 2014-5.
Subscriber/shareholders will receive four issues of the magazine each year and a personal, numbered “Black VIP card”, accrediting them as shareholders. With each quarterly issue they will also receive a numbered, signed print of a work by one of the photographers featured in the issue.
Cost
The 2nd year annual subscription of Shooter costs €92 in Spain (where it is printed), €115 elsewhere in Europe, and €142 in the rest of the world.
The First Year Pack (4 magazine + one special) cost €83 in Spain (where it is printed), €104 elsewhere in Europe, and €128 in the rest of the world.
How to pay
We prefer that you use the secure payments operator Paypal on our website http://www.shootermag.com, but we can also accept payment via bank transfer. Let us know and we will supply the bank data.
Can I see the magazine before deciding whether to subscribe?
